Member Spotlight: Masters Ceremonies

Bev_and_Donna.jpgLocated in Appleton, WI, Masters Ceremonies offers a wide array of celebrant services. Formerly a Justice of the Peace in Massachusetts, Sally Masters continues this line of work by officiating various ceremonies and rituals such as weddings, domestic partnership celebrations, vow renewals, baby/child blessings, house blessings, name changing ceremonies, end of life celebrations, pet burials, and more.

“Helping all couples, individuals, and families celebrate important milestones in their lives gives me great pleasure and it is my passion to help people do that” said Masters. Performing weddings, commitment ceremonies, and domestic partner celebrations is what Sally most commonly finds herself doing, having officiated more than 600 since 2004.

When it comes to a ceremony or ritual, Masters works closely with individuals to create a moment that is personal and unique to them. Everything that takes place within the occasion is customized to the individuals and/or family involved. Although based in Appleton, Sally will travel reasonable distances for ceremonies.

Being fairly new to Wisconsin, Masters Ceremonies became a member of the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce in order to be able to network as well as learn about other LGBT-allied businesses. “I haven’t been a member for very long, but I have already been in contact with, or have had other people contact me through the Chamber for business purposes,” said Masters.
