LGBT Chamber Welcomes Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin as Newest Gold Founding Member

MILWAUKEE — The Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce announced today that Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin (NCW) has joined the organization as its newest gold founding member.

“We are honored to welcome Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin as our newest member of the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber,” said Jason Rae, executive director of the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber. “Goodwill NCW is a forward-thinking organization that has a proven track record of LGBT+ inclusion, as witnessed through the LGBT Partnership. We cannot think of someone better to welcome into our Chamber family.”

Goodwill NCW is one of 164 regional Goodwill organizations throughout North America and around the world. A member of Goodwill Industries International, it has served north central Wisconsin communities since 1971. Goodwill NCW currently serves 35 Wisconsin counties and includes Goodwill Retail Stores and Training Centers from Manitowoc to La Crosse, and as far north as Rice Lake and Rhinelander.

Gold membership with the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber is one of the highest levels available. Membership includes a listing in the Business Directory and a seat on the Chamber’s Corporate Leadership Advisory Council.

The Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce is an organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and LGBT-allied businesses, corporations and professionals throughout the state of Wisconsin. It offers networking opportunities, business development efforts within the LGBT community, and educational programming to its members. The organization has more than 430 members from around the state. In 2015, the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce received the National Chamber of the Year Award from the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). More information can be found online at:
